What You’ll Do
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on high-speed beverage production equipment
- Troubleshoot, repair, and restore production equipment to minimize downtime
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls-related issues
- Maintain and repair conveyors, fillers, pumps, motors, VFDs, gearboxes, and other production equipment
- Support equipment changeovers, adjustments, and start-ups
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and technical documentation
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, parts, and corrective actions in MaintainX
- Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO), OSHA, GMP, SQF, food safety, and company safety requirements
- Partner with operators, supervisors, and engineering to quickly resolve equipment issues
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and prevent recurring problems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance and production environment
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- 18 years of age or older
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and maintain a flexible schedule
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
Preferred:
- 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a beverage, food, bottling, packaging, or manufacturing environment
- Experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Experience with conveyors, fillers, pumps, motors, VFDs, gearboxes, and PLCs
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Experience working in a GMP, SQF, or food safety environment
- Welding, HVAC, plumbing, or fabrication experience
- Computer skills and experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
The Work Environment
This is a hands-on maintenance role in a fast-paced beverage manufacturing environment. The position requires standing, walking, bending, twisting, climbing, reaching, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Work may be performed around operating production equipment, noise, and varying temperatures. Appropriate safety equipment and protective footwear are required.
