Job summary

Plastipak Packaging in Jackson Center, Ohio seeks an Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our high-demand packaging lines running. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on complex manufacturing equipment, and participate in efficient changeovers to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, with strong hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical skills.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience maintaining industrial manufacturing machinery.
Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems.
Ability to read blueprints or schematics and troubleshoot on the fly.
Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work on aerial platforms up to 20 ft.

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting and repairing complex manufacturing equipment.
Performing preventative maintenance and rebuilding spare parts.
Participating in efficient changeovers to keep production running.
Completing advanced technical trainings to earn new certifications.
