Job summary

Plastipak, a global leader in essential packaging, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician at our Ohio facility. You’ll fix and maintain complex manufacturing equipment and support a TPM program.

This 12-hour shift role operates on a 3-2-2-3 rotation with two 3-day weekends per month, offering competitive pay and solid benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, PTO, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience maintaining industrial manufacturing machinery.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and solve problems.
• Lift up to 75 lbs and work on aerial platforms up to 20 ft.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repairing complex manufacturing equipment.
• Performing preventative maintenance and rebuilding spare parts.
• Participating in efficient changeovers to keep production humming.

What You Bring To The Table

• Experience: 3+ years of experience maintaining industrial manufacturing machinery.
• Technical Toolkit: A solid grasp of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Analytical Mind: The ability to read blueprints/schematics and solve problems on the fly.
• Physical Readiness: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work on aerial platforms (up to 20ft).
• Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
