Job summary
Seaboard Foods in Guymon, OK seeks an Automation Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of automation technicians across PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and control systems. You will drive preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex equipment, and coordinate root-cause analyses to minimize downtime.

Qualifications
- Associate degree or two-year technical degree with 3+ years in industrial automation or electrical controls
- 5+ years in automation, electrical controls, robotics, or related fields as alternative to formal education
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, motors, instrumentation
- Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings
- Experience with industrial networks and robotics systems
- Ability to train and develop personnel
- Familiarity with safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures
- Excellent communication with operations, maintenance, and management
Responsibilities
- Supervise and develop Automation Technicians for maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of automation systems
- Provide PLC/HMI and robotics leadership and hands-on troubleshooting for complex failures
- Oversee preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance to ensure safe, reliable operation
- Lead root-cause analysis for recurring failures and implement corrective actions
- Maintain and verify maintenance records, configurations, and backups
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety policies, and lockout/tagout procedures
- Coordinate schedules, staffing, and resource utilization for the automation team
- Promote continuous improvement and technical excellence within the department
