Job summary

Flexicrew Technical Services in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on forklifts, craneway equipment, engines, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems while following safety procedures in a busy production environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, can read schematics, and work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience repairing forklifts and craneway equipment.
• Strong knowledge of engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings and pumps.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on forklifts and craneway equipment.
• Diagnose and repair engines, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, gearboxes, and industrial pumps.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Assist with and learn electrical troubleshooting and repairs, including 3-phase 480V systems.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and replacement parts.
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

Job description

(Fort Worth, TX): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong industrial maintenance background with experience repairing forklifts, cranes, pumps, and other heavy industrial equipment. This individual should be dependable, mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and committed to long-term employment.

Essential Duties:

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on forklifts and craneway equipment.
• Diagnose and repair engines, pneumatic cylinders, hydraulic systems, gearboxes, and industrial pumps.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Assist with and learn electrical troubleshooting and repairs, including 3-phase 480V systems.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and replacement parts.

Requirements/Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance mechanic experience preferred.
• Experience repairing forklifts and craneway equipment is required.
• Strong knowledge of engines, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, gearboxes, bearings, and pumps.
• Working knowledge of 3-phase 480V electrical systems and willingness to expand electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to identify required maintenance supplies and properly utilize maintenance tools and equipment.
• Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach for extended periods.
• Work in industrial environments with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and moving machinery.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when required.
• Must be able to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
