Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC in Conroe, TX is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance across the building and production areas. You will troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues, service production machinery, and support preventive maintenance programs.

Working hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The role requires a High School diploma and 4–7 years of related experience; forklift or welding skills are a plus, and safety procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of maintenance or facilities experience.
• Experience with production machinery.
• Basic knowledge of motors, pumps and mechanical components.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
• Forklift or scissor lift experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to read and follow instructions, work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs across the building and facility.
• Complete basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and minor repairs.
• Inspect building and equipment on a routine basis.
• Assist with maintenance of production machinery.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues on production equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Replace belts, hoses, bearings, switches, and filters.
• Respond to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
• Assist with equipment installation or movement as needed.
• Follow safety procedures including PPE and lockout/tagout.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs.
• Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Conroe, TX!

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the building and facility.
• Complete basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and minor repair work.
• Perform routine inspections of the building and equipment.
• Help maintain and repair production machinery.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues with production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Replace basic parts such as belts, hoses, bearings, switches, and filters.
• Respond to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns.
• Keep maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
• Assist with equipment installation or moving equipment as needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures, including proper PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Contact or assist outside contractors when specialized repairs are needed.
• Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.
