Job summary

APEL Extrusions has an immediate requirement for a qualified Maintenance Technician at its Phoenix, AZ facility. Reporting to the Maintenance and Engineering Manager, the Maintenance Technician troubleshoots, repairs, installs, and maintains manufacturing equipment to maximize uptime, improve reliability, and support production operations.

This role offers opportunities at Technician II and Technician III levels based on experience, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement in a busy

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to safely work in confined spaces and at elevated heights.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Work on fabrication projects, rebuild parts, and inspect machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Assist maintenance and operational personnel as needed.
• Operate a forklift and man lift.
• Plumb air, oil, grease and water lines.
• Troubleshoot hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work independently and as a team.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
