Madden Industrial Craftsmen Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a California manufacturing operations team focused on aerospace coatings and platings.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical systems, read blueprints, and calibrate instruments to maintain peak equipment performance. Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing facility environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage wiring, electrical troubleshooting, blueprint reading, and electrical maintenance.
• Familiarity with: DI water systems and water handling equipment; plating tanks and related equipment; rectifiers and electrical equipment; ventilation, exhaust and scrubber systems; compressed air systems
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and schematics interpretation.
• Skilled in welding techniques including stick welding for equipment repair.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulic systems, pneumatic troubleshooting, and schematics interpretation.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately for diagnostics.
• Experience operating scissor lifts safely for elevated maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of CMMS software for work order management.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical components.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical diagnostics using schematics, wiring diagrams, and testing instruments.
• Repair and replace faulty components through welding and mechanical adjustments.
• Utilize CMMS to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule tasks.
• Read electrical blueprints and PLC schematics to diagnose issues.
• Calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.
• Operate scissor lifts safely for elevated maintenance tasks.
• Support engineering troubleshooting by analyzing failures and implementing solutions.
• Assist in installation of new equipment and upgrades with safety compliance.
