Job summary
Georgia-Pacific LLC in Albion, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our corrugated sheet feeder plant. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment to improve reliability and uptime across production lines.
We offer 1st/2nd/3rd shifts, overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), vacation, holidays, and educational assistance. Starting pay is $35.50 per hour plus bonuses based on experience and certifications.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or military setting.
- Experience troubleshooting hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with conveyors, bearings, gears, and motor systems.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery for reliability and uptime.
- Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
- Respond to production floor requests with urgency.
- Document labor hours and maintenance findings.
- Operate hand and power tools safely in a hot, noisy environment.
