Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician for its Albion, MI corrugated sheet feeder plant. The role entails troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining industrial machinery, with emphasis on electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

The position requires flexibility to work various shifts, overtime, and holidays, and offers robust benefits. The candidate should have 1+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience or a two-year electrical controls degree

Qualifications

1+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing or military environments.
Experience installing/troubleshooting electric motors up to 480V and related controls components.
Experience reading electrical/hydraulic/mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and precision measurements.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, install, align, dismantle, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and control devices.
Perform routine preventative maintenance and respond to urgent production floor requests.
Work with motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and line equipment.
Read blueprints and manuals for installations and maintenance practices.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and safe working environment.
