Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC in Albany, GA is hiring Maintenance Technicians for our Corrugated facility. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical/mechanical systems, and installing drives and gears. Flexible to work any shift including overtime, with relocation incentives available. You will read schematics, follow safety protocols, and support production goals in a high-volume plant.

Qualifications

Two+ years of rotary machinery industrial maintenance experience.
Experience troubleshooting bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, conveyors and electrical/mechanical equipment.
Experience reading technical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems to identify defects before failure.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment per plant policies and procedures.
Install and repair drives, chains, sprockets, gears, belts, and couplings.
Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
Adhere to all safety and environmental guidelines and procedures.
Contribute to meeting production, waste and quality goals via maintenance programs.
Wear appropriate safety gear and follow safety rules.
Operate in a loud, hot, humid, dusty, high-volume environment.
Perform lifting, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and pulling tasks.
