Magna Seating in Highland Park, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production by performing repairs and preventive maintenance on machinery and facilities. The role requires PLC and robotic system familiarity, mechanical/electrical skills, and safe work practices.

The position involves reading manuals, troubleshooting equipment, and performing carpentry/electrical tasks, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and safety compliance.

Competenze

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade school certification in Industrial Electrical, Millwright, Industrial Maintenance, or Mechanical Technology preferred.
• Minimum of three years maintenance experience in manufacturing.

Mansioni

• Performs emergency and unscheduled repairs on machinery, equipment, and plant facilities to support production.
• Conducts preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to complete required maintenance, repairs, and service.
• Troubleshoots equipment issues, replaces or repairs components, tests equipment, and makes necessary adjustments.
• Performs general facility maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, and completes required hot work permits.
• Maintains a strong commitment to workplace safety by following all company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Immediately reports unsafe conditions, injuries, accidents, illnesses, near misses, and property damage to management.
