Responsibilities

Precision Aero Company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery and facility equipment. This hands-on role supports reliable manufacturing operations through preventive maintenance, effective troubleshooting, and timely repairs.

What You’ll Do

• Install, maintain, and repair production machinery and facility equipment.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose equipment problems, repair or replace parts, test equipment, and make necessary adjustments.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Perform basic machining, plumbing maintenance, and carpentry tasks.
• Safely use hand and power tools, electrical meters, and material-handling equipment.
• Identify and report equipment defects, unsafe conditions, and unusual operating issues.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures, safety requirements, and PPE guidelines.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and assist with other maintenance duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• At least four years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial maintenance skills, along with PLC and HVAC experience.
• A basic understanding of variable-frequency drives (VFDs), motor starters, overload protection, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electrical circuits.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills.
• High school diploma or GED, plus completion of a recognized craft apprenticeship or an equivalent combination of education and production maintenance experience.
• Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance.
• Ability to work safely at heights and around hazardous chemicals while using required PPE.
• Dependability, regular attendance, and effective communication with coworkers and leadership.
• Availability to work extended hours during peak workloads or special projects.

Physical Requirements

This role involves standing for extended periods; lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds; and bending, twisting, carrying, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, and climbing as needed. Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
