Brt Extrusions Inc in Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair machines, with a focus on hydraulic presses, and to troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.

The role requires 2 years in a manufacturing maintenance setting, willingness to work 12-hour shifts, and the ability to read electrical drawings. Welding and PLC experience are a plus; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with large hydraulic systems, pump diagnosis, cylinder rebuilds, pump repairs, valve tuning as well as control functions and troubleshooting.
• 2 years’ experience in a maintenance manufacturing setting is a must.
• Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings is a plus.
• Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
• Strong communication skills are a must.
• Must be willing to participate in trainings.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs to machines as needed with emphasis on hydraulic presses.
• Recommend modifications to eliminate malfunctions or to improve safety and efficiency.
• Perform repairs and troubleshoot on machinery and repair hydraulic and other systems.
• Assist in repairing malfunctions in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Follow all company safety and policies and participate in required trainings.
