Job summary
Top Echelon LLC seeks a Maintenance Technician / Plant Engineer for a busy commercial laundry plant in Ogden, UT. The role covers installing, repairing and maintaining large industrial textile processing equipment, with a 4-day work week and day shift (approx. 5am-3:30pm).
Reports to the Chief Engineer and offers strong benefits and growth potential. Requirements include 4+ years of industrial maintenance, electronics/PLC knowledge, carpentry, boiler repair, welding, and general facility
Qualifications
- 4+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience is required.
- Knowledge of electronics and basic PLC programming.
- Experience in carpentry, boiler repair, welding, and general facility repairs.
- Commercial Laundry (Linen/Uniform) experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Installs, repairs and performs preventative maintenance on industrial processing equipment and systems.
- Responds to daily maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.
- Machine startup for each shift and observe operation for efficiency and issues.
- Install or replace machine parts per specifications and test performance.
- Maintain electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic control systems.
