Job summary

Evergreen Cooperative Laundry is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to keep laundry equipment and plant services in top operating condition for our Cleveland facility. You will minimize downtime by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting complex machinery, and coordinating with engineering and operations teams.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in industrial maintenance with automated equipment, can read schematics, troubleshoot PLCs, and handle 3-phase motor

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• Two years minimum Industrial maintenance experience with automated equipment.
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot PLCs.
• Experience with 3-phase motor controllers.
• Knowledge of gears, bearings, lubrication, and related machinery.
• Able to fabricate and weld machining parts.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance on laundry processing equipment, conveyors, and other mechanical needs in the facility.
• Troubleshoot and repair production machinery and equipment.
• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repair as required.
• Communicate with Engineering, Managers/Supervisors, Production Staff and Outside Vendors regarding projects and repair problems.
• Fabricate and weld machining parts.
• Must be able to work with dryer, angle grinder, and needle scaler.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
