Job summary

Greif is seeking an Industrial Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for 1st shift in Texas. The role requires performing preventive maintenance, electrical inspections, and PLC-related tasks to keep machinery running efficiently.

Candidates typically hold a high school diploma with 2–4 years of hands-on experience and can read wiring diagrams, schematics and blueprints. Safety compliance and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2–4 years of experience.
• Able to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Experience with AC/DC motors, VFDs, and high-voltage circuits.
• Understanding PLC programming, such as Ladder Logic.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment; detects and prevents problems.
• Starts up and shuts down equipment per operation requirements and safety rules.
• Visually inspects electrical machinery and equipment.
• Dismantles and replaces electrical components as needed.
• Performs layouts, installs, tests, and adjusts electrical fixtures and wiring.
