Qualifications

• Typically possesses high school diploma or equivalent and 2–4 years of experience.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints; work with AC/DC motors and VFDs.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and components.
• Familiar with PLC programming languages and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Startup and shutdown equipment according to procedures and safety rules.
• Inspect electrical machinery and replace defective parts.
• Install, test, and repair electrical fixtures and panels.
• Maintain and troubleshoot control systems including PLCs.
