Job summary

Amcor Limited in Evansville, IN seeks a maintenance technician responsible for a wide range of tasks to keep molding and assembly machinery and auxiliary equipment running smoothly. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems, read prints, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve uptime and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years in manufacturing maintenance.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Advanced training or applied experience in hydraulics, industrial electricity, electronics and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Repair and preventive maintenance of all operating equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, robotics and program issues with molding and related equipment.
• Read electrical and hydraulic prints to perform maintenance.
• Understand PLC, RS Logic and robotics to test equipment.
• Perform daily PMs and maintain documentation.
• Diagnose issues and propose improvements to machines.
• Install machines and interface with other systems.
• Follow safety and lean manufacturing policies.
