Job summary

PLA is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician II for a weekend shift in Riverside, Missouri. The role focuses on facility and equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repairs to keep production running safely and efficiently.

You will work under the Maintenance III Technician and Plant Manager with moderate supervision. The position offers a guaranteed progression, a comprehensive benefits package, weekly pay, and opportunities to develop technical skills toward Maintenance III.

Qualifications

1–3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
Basic electrical knowledge; certifications a plus.
Welding experience (arc and/or MIG) preferred; certification a plus.
Valid driver's license required.
Vocational/trade school training or equivalent on-the-job experience preferred.
Basic 24V DC wiring and ability to read simple schematics.
120V AC and 240V AC wiring, troubleshooting, and repair.
Basic hydraulic and pneumatic systems knowledge.
Familiarity with production tools: Sawzall, air nail guns, screw guns, electric motors.
Basic computer proficiency: ability to process PMs, manage logs, and communicate via email.
Mechanical troubleshooting skills with a willingness to develop advanced competencies.

Responsibilities

Perform facility and equipment maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks.
Work under guidance of the Maintenance III Technician and Plant Manager.
Contribute to production uptime and safety.
Execute preventive maintenance schedules.
Support complex tasks alongside senior maintenance staff.
