Software Placement Group in Mendota, IL is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician II or III to support plant operations through multi-craft maintenance and electro-mechanical troubleshooting. This on-site, full-time role operates on a 3rd shift (11pm – 7:30am) with overtime and weekend work as needed.

The ideal candidate has 2–5+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience, strong PLC troubleshooting skills, ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and diagnosis skills, including PLC troubleshooting (non-programming).
• Eligible to work in the United States; sponsorship not provided.
• Proficient with electrical test equipment: Voltmeter, Ammeter, ohm meter, Megger.
• Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of NEC, UL508A, NFPA 79 codes.
• Lock Out Tag Out safety procedures.
• Arc Flash and PPE knowledge.
• Proficient in electrical formulas and mechanical math.
• Knowledge of 3 Phase wiring and power distribution.
• Experience with AC, DC and Servo Drive / Motor systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLC I/O and networking.
• Motion training with Servo Drives and Motors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• 2-5+ years of Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Systems and Controls experience.
• Basic PLC and Drive training.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and repair machines and controls including DC/AC motors and drives.
• Perform preventive maintenance and PM/Repair Work Orders.
• Order replacement parts and control components.
• Support CMMS performance and timely completion of PM/Repair Work Orders.
• Serve as first responder for machine problems; escalate to Electrical Engineering as needed.
• Support Daily Management directives and initiatives.
• Assist Continuous Improvement projects to improve production efficiency and safety.
• Coordinate with Production Staff to ensure safe operation of plant equipment.
• Oversee and perform preventive and reactive maintenance duties for manufacturing operations.
• Manage PM schedules and spare parts inventory.
• Work 40+ hours weekly, weekends as required, and on-call duties.
