Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician II in Waukesha, WI to join a team of multi-skilled technicians in a manufacturing facility. The role supports preventive maintenance on production equipment and facilities systems, following established safety procedures and CMMS workflows.

Responsibilities include inspections, lubrication, data gathering for predictive maintenance and minor repairs, while maintaining flexibility to meet critical business needs. overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Entry-level experience responding to work orders with limited troubleshooting.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance on production and facilities equipment.
• Ability to inspect and assess mechanical systems including sprockets, chains, motors, gearboxes and bearings.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Lubricate moving parts and replace filters as scheduled.
• Gather data for predictive maintenance analyses (oil, vibration, ultrasound, infrared).
• Operate tools and diagnostic hardware to complete maintenance tasks.
• Follow safety guidelines, lockout/tagout procedures and PPE requirements.
