Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician II to join a team of multi-skilled technicians in a manufacturing facility in Waukesha, WI. This entry-level role focuses on responding to work orders with limited troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance on production and facilities equipment.

Responsibilities include inspecting components, lubrication, filter changes, minor repairs, and data gathering for predictive maintenance using oil, vibration, ultrasound, and infrared

Qualifications

• 0–2 years industrial maintenance experience
• Two year degree in related curriculum
• Pre-employment substance abuse test required

Responsibilities

• Inspect sprockets, chains, motors, gearboxes and bearings
• Perform preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment
• Lubricate moving parts and change filters as needed
• Gather data for predictive maintenance technologies including oil, vibration, ultrasound and infrared analyses
• Operate hand tools and diagnostic equipment safely
• Follow CMMS scheduled maintenance and safety guidelines
• Assist with improvements to maintenance methods and equipment performance
• Accept other duties as assigned by supervisor
