Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician II for our manufacturing facility in Waukesha, WI. This role supports a team of multi-skilled technicians and focuses on preventive maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs in an industrial environment.

Work is Monday–Friday, 1st Shift (6:00 am to 2:30 pm) with overtime as needed. The position requires 0–2 years’ industrial maintenance experience and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs while complying with safety guidelines and PPE

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience 0–2 years.
• Able to perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders with limited troubleshooting.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production and facilities equipment.
• Inspect sprockets, chains, motors, gearboxes, bearings and related mechanisms.
• Lubricate moving parts and change filters as required.
• Collect data for predictive maintenance analyses (oil, vibration, infrared).
• Operate tools and diagnostic equipment to complete tasks.
• Follow safety guidelines, including lockout/tagout and PPE.
