Federal Express Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support industrial maintenance and material handling systems. You will perform preventative and predictive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, PLC/controls, and welding/fabrication tasks, diagnosing issues and coordinating with senior staff as needed.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety standards, reliability of material handling systems, and the use of EAM software to document work orders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certificates in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics, electrical or mechanical trade or related area.
• Associate degree in related area preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and failures; rely on higher level technicians for complex issues.
• Adhere to safety standards and attend trainings.
• Respond to sort calls to diagnose problems and make repairs.
• May troubleshoot multiple component issues.
• Utilize Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software to enter and retrieve data.
• Somewhat complex skills required in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical failures.
• May rely on higher level Technicians for complex issues and assist on smaller projects.
• May work a flexible schedule including all days and shifts as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
