Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support material handling systems with preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The role covers mechanical power transmission, electrical and PLC/control systems, with basic welding/fabrication skills.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, adhering to safety standards, and using EAM software for data entry.

Qualifications

Two (2) years experience in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics with competency in at least two specialty skills in mechanical power transmission, electrical, or PLC/Controls, with basic welding/fabrication skills required.
Related military experience will be considered.
In lieu of experience, an associate degree in an Industrial Maintenance/electrical/mechanical trade or related certificates or other degrees may be considered equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provides preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and failures with escalation for complex issues.
Adheres to safety standards and attends trainings to promote a safe work environment.
Responds to sort calls to diagnose problems and make repairs.
Utilizes Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software to enter and retrieve prescribed data.
Diagnoses and troubleshoots mechanical or electrical problems at multiple component levels.
May work on smaller scope projects and may need to work a flexible schedule.
