Job summary

IES is seeking a Maintenance professional to evaluate and maintain industrial equipment and building systems. You will schedule preventative work, coordinate with vendors, and assist with maintenance budgets while ensuring safety and a clean, compliant work environment.

Responsibilities include on-site coordination, safety compliance, and participation in meetings to align maintenance timelines with production goals.

Qualifications

• Identify issues and determine action.
• Schedule maintenance for building systems and machinery.
• Proven safe work performance in manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of lock-out/tag-out and machine guarding.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate machines and building systems to determine required maintenance.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Coordinate with vendors to schedule maintenance needs.
• Assist with schedules and budget for departmental maintenance.
• Monitor and report on project progress.
• Attend production meetings to align maintenance timelines.
• Develop and ensure adherence to maintenance budget and safety rules.
• Oversee disposal of chemical waste and supplier scheduling.
• Maintain building security and on-site first responder duties.
