Job summary

Ridge Corporation in Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support our manufacturing operations. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and process improvements to keep production lines running safely and efficiently.

You will work on automated equipment, read schematics, and collaborate with operators and engineering to minimize downtime. The position is on-site, with second shift hours and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Practical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and pumps.
• Ability to read and trace electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints.
• A team-first attitude, self-motivation, and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on automated industrial production equipment
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Diagnose and perform basic troubleshooting on PLCs and control circuits
• Maintain, repair, and service auxiliary plant equipment, including air compressors, chillers, and boilers
• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
• Partner with production operators and engineering teams to minimize downtime and drive process improvements
• Take on other duties as assigned
