Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a food manufacturing facility. The role requires 3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance and the ability to read schematics and diagnose PLC-controlled systems.

The position is on-site in Hiram, OH with 12-hour rotating shifts and a 14-day monthly schedule. Wages are $34.10–$36.70 per hour plus a $2.10 night premium on night shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or an associate’s degree preferred.
• Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience, or equivalent training and experience.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting production equipment, electrical systems, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, and controls.
• Ability to read schematics and use standard diagnostic tools.
• PL C troubleshooting experience required; PLC programming is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Independently troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including PLC I/O diagnostics and ladder logic.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records.
