Job summary

Armstrong World Industries in Hilliard, Ohio seeks a Maintenance Technician to support 24/5 production lines. You will diagnose and repair electro/mechanical equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

The role offers shift work (2nd shift) with overtime eligibility and skill-based pay between $33.85 and $48.57 per hour. Expect routine safety adherence, the ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and occasional training outside regular hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional education preferred.
• Must be able to read/interpret schematics and ladder diagrams.
• Two or more years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to line calls and quickly assess and resolve problems with industrial equipment.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and lubrication work orders.
• Follow up on repair work orders and safety, quality, cost, or delivery improvements.
• Attend and complete required training, possibly outside normal hours.
