Job summary

MCC Label in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Maintenance Tech/Electrician to ensure electrical schematics and instrumentation are calibrated, troubleshoot downtime, and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.

The role requires 1+ year experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic applications; reading electrical schematics; basic computer skills; and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. MCC offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
• Ability to read electrical schematics; vocational maintenance training preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to multi-task and identify process improvements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service in a multi-shift environment
• Performs duties including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines
• Supports an optimized production environment by applying the principles of Lean Manufacturing and 5S
• Responsible for maintaining and performing repairs to the facility
