AluChem is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for 1st or 2nd shift in Cincinnati. The role involves hands-on repair and preventive maintenance on heavy processing equipment, with a rotating weekend schedule and a competitive hourly wage of $25–$29.

A strong preference for electrical troubleshooting or welding/fabrication experience is noted, with opportunities to grow in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical troubleshooting OR welding/fabrication.
• Comfortable working on large, heavy industrial equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Self-starter who can work independently - small team means more ownership.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Experience as electrician, maintenance mechanic, welder, fabricator, millwright, machine repair technician, diesel mechanic, or similar skilled trade is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair heavy processing equipment - ball mills, crushers, air mills, blenders, and baggers.
• Perform preventative maintenance on large-scale grinding and material handling systems.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and get production back up and running quickly.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or structural issues on high-wear equipment.
• Complete work orders and document repairs.
• Work closely with production to minimize downtime on a small, hands-on maintenance team.
• Follow safe work practices around large industrial equipment.
