AluChem, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician – Welding or Electrical for its Cincinnati, OH facility. This full-time, on-site role maintains and repairs production equipment, performs diagnostics, and conducts welding or fabrication work as required.

The position emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and collaboration with production staff to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial equipment maintenance, mechanical repair, and troubleshooting of production machinery.
• Proficiency in welding and fabrication or electrical systems maintenance, including reading blueprints or electrical schematics.
• Strong safety practices; knowledge of OSHA and company safety standards.
• Ability to use hand and power tools, diagnostic instruments, and maintenance-related equipment.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication with supervisors and other departments.
• On-site work across different shifts; ability to stand, lift moderate weights, and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and plant systems to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics; execute preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Carry out welding or fabrication work on machinery and structural components as needed.
• Inspect equipment for wear, document work performed, and follow maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime and support improvements.
• Assist with equipment installations or upgrades and uphold safety procedures.
