Job summary

Michelman, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician II for the 1st shift (7:00 am–3:30 pm) in the Cincinnati area. This hands-on role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing facility equipment while upholding strict safety standards.

You will work with CMMS for job documentation, perform electrical and mechanical tasks, and train teammates in operational procedures. The position requires at least 3 years in plant maintenance and a technical degree or equivalent certifications.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in plant maintenance operations.
• Technical degree or certifications preferred.
• Experience with motors, VFDs, starters, power supplies, and transformers.
• Proficient at pipefitting and welding.
• Experience with batch mixing tanks, pressure vessels, extruders, conveyors, boilers, compressors, and general building repair.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment across facilities.
• Use manual and powered hand tools to complete maintenance.
• Record all work in CMMS and track inventory used.
• Maintain and optimize process equipment to base condition.
• Train others in operational procedures and equipment functions.
