Job summary

Hialeah Metal Spinning, Inc. in Florida is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep CNC and related equipment running reliably in a fast-paced shop. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose equipment faults, and work closely with production teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance or similar manufacturing-equipment experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical industrial troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems and safe electrical troubleshooting practices.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience troubleshooting machinery while supporting active production operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, servo, motor, sensor, and industrial-control problems.
• Maintain and support CNC metal-spinning machines, CNC lathes/turning centers, laser cutting equipment, laser-welding systems, hydraulic presses, chillers, compressors, and related facility equipment.
• Diagnose breakdowns under production conditions and establish practical repair priorities to minimize downtime.
• Read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and OEM troubleshooting documentation.
• Communicate clearly with OEM technical support, vendors, integrators, and outside service technicians.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, upgrades, wiring, mechanical modifications, and continuous-improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair histories, spare-parts information, and preventive-maintenance schedules.
• Identify recurring failures and recommend corrective actions that improve equipment reliability.
• Follow lockout/tagout, electrical safety, machine-safety, and HMS safety requirements.
• Coordinate closely with Operations and Production so that repairs are performed safely and with minimal disruption.
