Job summary

Smart Resources Group is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for our metal fabrication environment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain brake presses, punch and cutting machines, welding equipment, CNC machinery, and conveyors to keep production running safely and efficiently.

You must read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings, work with 480V–600V systems, and have 5–10 years of industrial maintenance experience with overhead cranes (1–5 ton).

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Must have own tools.
• Experience with metal fabrication or heavy industrial equipment.
• Experience maintaining or troubleshooting overhead cranes (1–5 ton).
• Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Experience with 480V–600V electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair brake presses, punch machines, cutting machines, welding equipment, CNC machinery, and conveyors.
• Maintain and troubleshoot 1-ton to 5-ton overhead cranes.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Troubleshoot 480V–600V systems, motors, VFDs, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, equipment adjustments, and repairs.
