Job summary

Paycom is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to install, maintain, and repair machinery, electrical systems, and structures at our Wichita facilities. The role requires high voltage electrical work, preventive maintenance, and ability to read gauges, use precision tools, and follow EH&S procedures.

Weekend or rotating day shifts may apply; candidates should be able to work at heights and operate company vehicles as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with CNC and manual machines required.
• Aircraft parts manufacturing and assembly environment experience preferred.
• Experience with Makino machines preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience with Fanuc, Siemens and Mazatrol controls preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machinery and equipment for proper operation.
• Detect malfunctions and discuss operation variations with supervision to diagnose problems.
• Dismantle defective machines and install new or repaired parts.
• Install and repair high voltage electrical apparatus and related systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance such as fluid changes, lubrication, and inspections.
• Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate parts.
• Operate welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
• Perform facilities maintenance including electrical and plumbing tasks.
• Comply with company safety rules and EH&S procedures.
• Coordinate with EH&S Manager to file environmental paperwork.
