Job summary

HM Dunn AeroSystems, Inc. is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to inspect, repair, and optimize machinery and electrical systems at our Wichita facility.

You will perform preventive maintenance, set up tools, and coordinate with EH&S for regulatory compliance to ensure safe, efficient operations. Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions, repairing components, and performing welding and fabrication tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience working on CNC and manual machines in aerospace context is preferred.
• Experience with Makino machines is preferred.
• Experience with electrical/electronic components of CNC/manual machines is preferred.
• 3+ years with Fanuc, Siemens and Mazatrol controls is preferred.
• Basic math including fractions and decimals.
• Strong verbal communication; ability to listen and clarify.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machinery and equipment for proper operation.
• Detect malfunctions and discuss issues with supervisors to diagnose problems.
• Dismantle defective machines and install parts.
• Install and repair electrical apparatus and systems in machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and lubrication.
• Set up and operate machine tools to repair parts.
• Operate welding equipment to join metal parts.
• Perform facilities maintenance tasks as needed.
• Comply with safety rules and environmental regulations.
• File environmental paperwork with EH&S Manager when required.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Meet physical demands with or without accommodation.
• Manage company vehicle as required.
