Job summary

Axius Group LLC in Wichita, KS is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to install, maintain, and repair machinery, electrical systems, and mechanical components at our facility. The role includes high voltage electrical work, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and machining operations on CNC and manual machines.

You will diagnose problems, perform preventive maintenance, and work with the EH&S Manager to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Requires high school diploma or GED preferred.
3+ years’ experience with CNC and manual machines; aircraft parts manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience with Makino machines.
Experience with Fanuc, Siemens and Mazatrol controls preferred.
Ability to apply basic math for measurements and tolerances.
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

Inspect machinery and equipment for proper operation.
Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions with supervisors or maintenance staff.
Dismantle, repair, and install machine components.
Perform high voltage electrical work on 480/208 3-phase systems and related electrical components.
Carry out preventive maintenance like fluid changes and lubrication.
Set up and operate machine tools to fabricate parts and fixtures.
Carry out welding or cutting to repair parts as needed.
Maintain safety compliance and communicate with EH&S.
Record environmental paperwork as required.
