Job summary

The Toledo, Ohio facility of Clarios is seeking an experienced industrial maintenance professional to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment including conveyors and robotics. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical repair skills and the ability to read schematics and manuals.

Shifts include 2nd and 3rd, with 12-hour weekend coverage; overtime and weekend work are required. A sign-on bonus and shift differentials accompany competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical and electrical repair skills.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems (480v), and preventative maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders.
• PLC troubleshooting experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment including conveyors, robotics, and electrical systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues, replace or repair parts, and make adjustments to minimize downtime.
• Work with 120, 208, and 480 VAC circuits, PLC hardware, ladder logic, and motor controls (VFDs, soft starts).
• Operate shop tools such as lathe, milling machine, drill press, grinder, and power saws as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Adhere to safety protocols including PPE requirements and LOTO procedures.
