Job summary

MT MT METTLER TOLEDO is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility infrastructure to maximize uptime and profitability.

A strong electro-mechanical background and CMMS familiarity are required. Ideal candidates will have 5–10 years in industrial maintenance, be able to read schematics, and handle single and three-phase electrical

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical training preferred; a high school diploma with relevant experience is acceptable.
• 5–10 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience required.
• Experience with schematics or electrical wiring diagrams, single and three phase electrical systems.
• Experience with CMMS platforms and PLC troubleshooting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair production machines and facility equipment.
• Read technical manuals and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot issues.
• Troubleshoot and fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.
• Calibrate and test equipment for optimal performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Work with PLCs, three-phase electrical systems, cranes, robotics, and CNC machines.
• Maintain maintenance records in CMMS and comply with safety standards.
