Job summary

CHEP is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the Kilgore, TX area. The role focuses on maintaining plant equipment, diagnostics and repair, ensuring safety and quality. The candidate will work 2nd shift, Mon-Fri, 3:00pm-11:30pm with benefits from day one and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand on concrete floors for up to 12 hours and lift 75 pounds.
• Experience in industrial, automotive, logistics or similar environments.
• Ability to read English and understand mechanical/electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures on plant equipment (conveyors, pallet handling).
• Maintain pneumatics, hydraulics and electric systems; perform preventative maintenance.
• Document work orders and maintain CMMS records.
• Participate in health and safety programs and training.
