Job summary

Randstad is currently partnering with a Food & Beverage Manufacturing company in Dixon, IL to hire Maintenance Technicians for a full-time permanent role. The second shift runs 4 PM–12 AM, with a salary around $66,500–$67,100 per year.

The job requires 2–5 years in industrial maintenance, reading blueprints, and working with pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical equipment; safety procedures and accurate maintenance records are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 - 5 years of experience of performing industrial maintenance in a manufacturing or food manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Mechanical Aptitude
• Good attendance and work history
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment and facility systems.
• Install, set up, and maintain equipment following blueprints, sketches, verbal instructions, or written work orders with minimal supervision.
• Operate and maintain machine shop equipment; perform welding, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and pump repairs as needed.
• Respond efficiently and calmly to emergency downtime situations to minimize production delays.
• Follow and comply with all lockout/tagout procedures and safety regulations
• Maintain legible and accurate maintenance records.
