Job summary

Sheridan is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Tech 2 – 1stShift to maintain production equipment and building systems with expertise in at least one trade. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure safe, efficient operation in a fast-paced facility.

The role requires a strong electrical foundation, pneumatics, hydraulics, and solid communication. Overtime and on-call duties may apply, with a Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:00 PM schedule and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or HiSET.
• 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Fundamentals of electricity.
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex equipment.
• General knowledge of building trades.
• Pneumatics and hydraulics basics.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Ability to work productively and safely.
• Reliable with good attendance.
• Willingness to work overtime or be on emergency call.
