Job summary

Sheridan is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Tech 2 for first shift to perform maintenance and repair on production equipment and building systems of moderate to high complexity, with independence in execution.

You will bring proficiency in at least one building trade, a solid electrical understanding, and the ability to diagnose and repair complex equipment. Training and advancement opportunities are available within our growing organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/HiSET required.
• At least 3 years of maintenance experience.
• Basic understanding of electricity.
• Able to diagnose and repair complex equipment.
• Knowledge of building trades (general).
• Understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Basic computer skills.
• Reliable with good attendance.
• Work overtime or emergency call as needed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, walk, reach overhead, and perform repeditive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance or repair of production equipment.
