Job summary

Sheridan is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Tech 3 for weekend days to handle emergency repairs and preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment. Requires reading electrical schematics and strong mechanical/electrical skills. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently with safety in mind.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• 4+ years’ experience in a similar position
• Mechanical and electrical skills
• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Basic verbal and written communication skills
• Able to diagnose and make complex repairs
• General knowledge of all building trades
• Good interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
• Ability to learn the job and perform work productively and safely
• Reliable; good attendance is required

Responsibilities

• Complete emergency repairs on production and facility equipment.
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance of equipment of moderate to high complexity.
• Support overall goals of Sheridan through independent work.
