Job summary

Sheridan is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production equipment and facility operations. This 2nd shift role runs from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with rotating on-call weekends.

Compensation starts at $23.00/hour or higher based on experience, plus a $1.00/hour shift differential. Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical breakdowns, maintaining and modifying equipment and facilities, and performing preventative and emergency

Qualifications

2–3 years of mechanical technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
Understand Lock-Out-Tag-Out.
Knowledge of electrical systems, including single phase 120v, three phase 480v and 24 VDC.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities to include fabricating parts and assemblies.
Follow up on and study recurring facility-oriented failures to find solutions.
Complete all preventative, scheduled and emergency maintenance and repair work to facilities and equipment as required.
Perform safety measures in the design and installation of equipment.
Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials necessary for the operation of the building and manufacturing.
