Job summary

The Bama Companies, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday-Friday). This safety-sensitive, non-exempt role offers an hourly starting pay of $26.80 and requires proficiency in multiple maintenance areas including PLC troubleshooting and motor controls.

You will support industrial systems, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components, and collaborate with Operations/QA to ensure safe production.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in at least 5 of the listed areas and have basic knowledge of the others.
• Automated equipment setup, teardown and repair.
• PLC troubleshooting.
• Maintenance and repair of motor controls, general industrial wiring and hardware, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Maintenance and repair of AC inverters, DC controllers and servers.
• Strong electrical skill set.
• Maintenance and repair of mechanical systems including pneumatics, bearings, seals, gears, chains, sprockets, pipe fitting, and lubrication.

• Provide technical support to the Emergency Response Team during shifts with facility knowledge and drawings.
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
