Job summary

Jobot is seeking Industrial Maintenance Technicians for an established manufacturing plant in Wetumpka, AL. The role covers preventative and corrective maintenance on factory equipment, with a focus on PLC and robotic systems, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting. First and second shifts offered, overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with PLC and robotic systems.
• Experience with 480V 3-phase electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering schematics for electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Welding experience for repair and fabrication (MIG/TIG/Arc).
• Knowledge of troubleshooting and repairing powered lift equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with SQF standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility structures, production machinery, and utility systems.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance per the schedule.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with mechanical, electrical, and control systems to reduce downtime.
• Install, maintain, and repair production equipment.
• Maintain inventories of equipment, parts, and supplies and identify replenishment needs.
• Keep the vehicle fleet and material handling equipment ready for operations.
• Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades and process improvements to boost efficiency.
• Adhere to safety protocols and comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
