The role requires a 1-year certificate or equivalent, proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, and experience with HVAC/R, hydraulics, and electrical systems. The job involves 12-hour shifts with overtime as needed and a pay rate up to $38 per hour.
Qualifications
- 1 year certificate from a college or technical school or equivalent
- Proficient in PLC troubleshooting and preventive maintenance planning
- Experience with HVAC/R, electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and safety standards
Responsibilities
- Inspects and tests machinery and equipment and follows preventative maintenance schedules.
- Discusses problems with machinery with managers/supervisors.
- Dismantles defective machines and installs new or repaired parts.
- Operates safely with respirator and maintains cleanliness of safety equipment.
- Cleans and lubricates components; installs and repairs electrical equipment.
- Designs, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems; hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Responds to basic system alarms and resets as needed.
- Communicates production updates and plans with coworkers.
- Move carts, pallets, and toolboxes to perform repairs or part replacements.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety policies.
